If there is one thing St.
Louis is known for, it’s the food. Independent restaurants
are all over the city and every St. Louisan seems to have
their favorite. For a comprehensive list of the city's independent restaurants or St. Louis Originals, visit Sauce Magazine.
The Hill is the city’s Italian district and features
more than a dozen excellent restaurants where you’ll
find the famous Toasted Raviolis and Provel cheese. Within
walking distance of the hotel are Harvest Restaurant, Jimmy’s Café
on the Park, Kaldi’s Coffee and Sasha’s Wine
Bar all set in a European sidewalk setting. Maplewood is a newly revitalized area of St. Louis located just four blocks from the hotel. We encourage you to try one of the many new award winning restaurants including Schlafly Bottleworks, Monarch and Arthur Clay's.
Known for it's frozen custard, Ted Drewe's has been a St. Louis tradition since 1930. Stop by for a tasty treat. Another St. Louis tradition is Crown Candy, which has been around since 1913. Complete with a soda fountain and candy counter, Crown Candy is reknowned for hand-dipped ice cream and hot fudge sundaes as well as good food. Tony's of St. Louis prides itself on perfect meals, fine wine and is the only restaurant ever to receive the coveted AAA five-diamond award in the State of Missouri. Be sure to put Tony's on your list for a superb dining experience.
You’ll also find some of your favorites including
Outback Steakhouse, Applebee's, Panera Bread Company and Einstein Bagels
just down the street.
